Welcome to Pine class
Pine class is a Year 2 and Year 3 class. The class teacher is Mrs Hardwick Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday with Mrs Jones teaching on a Wednesday. The teaching assistants supporting are Mrs Woolmington and Mrs Thomas.
Our PE day is on a Thursday until May half term, then it will change to a Monday.

Maths
We use TTRockStars to practise our times tables. We also take part in daily recall of times tables, currently focusing on multiplication and division facts for 2, 5, 10s. Children are exposed to other tables and complete their weekly Times Table Olympic challenge for their level.

Formal Written Methods
In Year 3, the children begin to learn the formal written methods for addition, subtraction, multiplication and division (column and bus stop). If you would like to support your child with this at home, please take a look at our calculation policy to see how we teach them at school.
